Educational Programs EarthKeepers can and has developed curriculum and specific programs for schools, organizations and agencies on the environment (problems, solutions), Indigenous studies, indigenous culture and history, sustainability (Health, herbs, cooking, healing, etc)in the southeast and across the U.S., whether through public speaking, hands on education, ceremonies, classes etc…Please contact us for more information on these and other programs. EarthKeepers has successfully
designed and produced theatrical sets depicting authentic indigenous
culture, large-scale corporate events, educational models, and community
festivals. Such works include set consultation, collaborative design,
and assistance with the construction of a Plains Indian village for
the movie “Dances With Wolves” and Brown & Williamson
Tobacco Corporations annual Kentucky Derby Thunder event.
EarthKeepers recently produced the theatrical event A Thousand Years of Peace - A Ceremonial Suite in Nine Movements hosted by Zoo Atlanta in the Coca-Cola World Studio. A Thousand Years of Peace was the enactment of the vision of peace as depicted through a cross-cultural progression of nine movements toward the ancient and eternal dream of peace. music, vocals, and dance merged the true intention of ceremony with an inspiring message of peace and the importance of honoring the sacred water of Mother Earth. With the use of captivating technical effects in lighting and sound, audiences of all ages became participants in a “theatrical emergence”. This event is currently being formatted for television and is expected to be performed again for live audiences. EarthKeepers Tribal Revival EarthKeepers Tribal Revival is an energetic musical ensemble, an indigenous melding of spiritual overtones expressed through music and the performing arts. Each year EarthKeepers hosts one or more Tribal Revival gatherings where multicultural artists join together in an impromtu performance that generates an atmosphere of magical transformation for all who attend. |
