EarthKeepers
believes education is good medicine and that through
the use of theatre, dance and music delivered in beautiful,
artistic, and entertaining ways, we can transform the
heart as well as the mind. Utilizing this philosophy
consistently throughout our diverse array of programs,
EarthKeepers influences a broad and varied community
which includes government agencies, public and private
schools, universities, and other academic organizations.
In addition, EarthKeepers addresses corporations, regional
planning commissions, local community preservation societies,
as well as scientific, economic, spiritual, and social
leadership conferences.
Native American and University Campus
Programs
EarthKeepers provides curriculum
consultation, instruction and special appointments at major
universities throughout the United States. EarthKeepers philosophy
encompasses a wide range of disciplines in the academic community
including schools of religion, history, theology, environmental
law and science, anthropology and medicine as well as numerous
others.
EarthKeepers offers Apprenticeship
Programs for those seeking a stronger connection with their spiritual
path and a deeper understanding of their relationship with the
earth. Programs vary in length and are designed to fit the unique
needs and goals of the individual. With sincere dedication and
commitment, EarthKeepers Apprenticeship Programs provide rewarding
new perspectives and opportunities for transformation. For more
information on EarthKeepers Apprenticeship Programs, please contact
Bluewolf@earthkeepers.net.
EarthKeepers
promotes environmental action in everyday life. We each impact
the planet on a daily basis in the choices we make through the
food we eat, the goods we consume and the energy we use. We also
impact the planet with our attitudes and the thoughts we think.
Because environmental action at its core is so intricately linked
with our daily lives, EarthKeepers offers education on lifestyle
changes that support personal growth and reconnection to sustainable
values that reflect a healthy relationship with the rhythms and
balance of the natural world.
EarthKeepers Clean
Water Coalition
There once was a time when indigenous
people of the world thought that water came from a place that
had no beginning and went to a place that had no end. Water
was revered as "the source of all life" and was known
among First Nations people as the "longman". It has
become apparent in today's world that we have lost touch with
this relationship. According to the World Watch Institute, over
the next twelve years, if current trends continue, at least
75% of the earth will experience a severe water shortage due
to unprecedented drought, misuse, abuse, and lack of water conservation.
The push for privatization of water rights only intensifies
the complexity of the situation and suggests that Albert Einstein
may have been correct when he stated, "If we don't do the
unimaginable, we will be forced to live with the unthinkable."
Accutely aware of these mounting concerns, Earthkeepers formed
the Clean Water Coalition. Through local grass roots environmental
action and educational campaigns, EarthKeepers is raising awareness
and empowering local communities with the social, scientific,
political and spiritual characteristics needed to unite humanity
in our understanding of this precious source of life.
